Maggie Walsh, PhD, LPC, RPT
I attended the University of Georgia where I earned a B.S. in Psychology. I continued my education at the University of Georgia and received my M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling. I then earned my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Practice from Georgia State University. I have received extensive training in working with children, teens, young adults, parents and families.
I have been working with clients for 16 years and have worked in schools, community mental health centers and private practice. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC006938) and Registered Play Therapist.
In addition to my clinical work I have taught numerous graduate level courses and supervised counselors in training. I am also a board member of the Play Therapy Training Institute.
I live in Dunwoody with my husband Tim and our two boys Henry and Charles.
